Serb Progressive Party (SNS) leader Aleksandar Vucic says it is "not realistic for his party to form a government with the Democratic Party (DS)". He also reiterated that cooperation would be offered the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). SNS-DS alliance "not realistic", says leader of Progressives "We have no problem with the possibility they might refuse," he told B92 TV on Monday. Vucic noted that the SNS party presidency and main board could make a different decision regarding a "grand coalition," but that he thought this unlikely and would not support this option. "We will offer changes to the SPS. If they prefer to side with (Liberal Democratic Party leader) Cedomir Jovanovic we will say - fine, we respect your decision. We think this is legal, but not legitimate, because the people wanted changes," said Vucic. The Progressives will now talk to the Socialists (SPS) because the people's message sent in the elections was that they did not wish to see Boris Tadic as president, nor his Democratic Party (DS) in power. Vucic added he wished to see Jorgovanka Tabakovic from the SNS as Serbia's next prime minister. Aleksandar Vucic (Tanjug, file) B92 Tanjug
