Kosovo delegation could withdraw from the dialogue with Belgrade unless Serbia started implementing agreements, Pristina team chief Edita Tahiri has said. According to media in Pristina, she said that a decision on termination of the dialogue would depend on the advice that Kosovo authorities would receive from the EU and the U.S. Pristina team chief: Dialogue could end “As a party in the talks we will speak to the international community and we will jointly analyze justification of continuation or termination of the dialogue. In coordination with the EU and the U.S. we will take further steps if Serbia continues to be uncooperative,” Tahiri pointed out. She has rejected a possibility that the customs checkpoints in northern Kosovo will be discussed. The Pristina team head repeated that she was against talks about the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings and assessed that Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanovic’s statements that Serbia was discussing it with the international community were demagogic. “The international factor was always refusing Serbia’s request to impose the issue of customs crossings as a dialogue,” Tahiri stressed, adding that Stefanovic’s statements were made for the internal political purposes in Serbia.
