A day of mourning was declared in Serbia today, after the death of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others. The Polish delegation, that included some top state and military official, and the president's wife Maria, died last Saturday in a plane crash in western Russia. Serbia mourns Kaczynski death Belgrade's Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Mary will host an ecumenical gathering this evening, where Roman Catholic and Serbian Orthodox priests will together serve requiems for the victims. Flags will fly at half-mast in Serbia today, while media will refrain from broadcasting entertainment programs. Newspapers will be printed in black and white, while classes in all schools will begin with students and their teachers observing a minute's silence.
