Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic conferred with Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic in Podgorica on Wednesday. The Montenegrin head of state expressed hope after the meeting that economic cooperation between the two countries would be stepped up with the election of the new Serbian government. Vujanovic, Jeremic meet in Podgorica Vujanovic expressed confidence that economic projects in the area of traffic infrastructure will have particular importance within that cooperation, the office of the Montenegrin President said. He also said that he expected the new Serbian government to step up European integration. Jeremic pointed out that the government in Belgrade is fully dedicated to European integrations and reiterated that Serbia does not accept the unilateral independence declared by Kosovo Albanians. This is Jeremic’s first visit abroad in his new mandate as foreign minister. In Podgorica, he will also be meeting with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic, Parliamentary Speaker Ranko Krivokapic, and Foreign Minister Milan Rocen.

Vujanović expressed confidence that economic projects in the area of traffic infrastructure will have particular importance within that cooperation, the office of the Montenegrin President said.He also said that he expected the new Serbian government to step up European integration.
Jeremić pointed out that the government in Belgrade is fully dedicated to European integrations and reiterated that Serbia does not accept the unilateral independence declared by Kosovo Albanians.
This is Jeremić’s first visit abroad in his new mandate as foreign minister.
In Podgorica, he will also be meeting with Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, Parliamentary Speaker Ranko Krivokapić, and Foreign Minister Milan Roćen.
