Ethnic Albanians beat up Serb in Kosovo

65-year-old displaced Serb Miloš Čukić was attacked Wednesday around noon in downtown Peć in southwestern Kosovo, Radio Goraždevac has reported.

PEC 65-year-old displaced Serb Milos Cukic was attacked Wednesday around noon in downtown Pec in southwestern Kosovo, Radio Gorazdevac has reported. Cukic came to Pec to visit his illegally occupied house and after he was let into the yard several Albanian men attacked him. Ethnic Albanians beat up Serb in Kosovo Cukic stated that the attackers said they were beating him because he was a Serb. The victim sustained several injuries to his face and body and was given first aid in a hospital in Pec after which he was transferred to the village of Ljevosa, where he stays when visiting his hometown. The attack on Cukic was condemned by Bishop Teodosije of Raska and Prizren, who said it was unacceptable to attack people like him, known for their kindness and peacefulness. A view Pec Tanjug

Čukić stated that the attackers said they were beating him because he was a Serb.

The attack on Čukić was condemned by Bishop Teodosije of Raška and Prizren, who said it was unacceptable to attack people like him, known for their kindness and peacefulness.
