@ Mike C:

After reading your comment it got me thinking that I wouldn't blame an Albanian who would seek physical retribution against a Serb who would physically target him or her for a hate crime or for another unjust reason, also,I wouldn't blame an innocent Albanian who would rough up another Albanian who unjustly got physical with him or her.

typical albanians cant fight young guys so they beat up the old and yet 10 guys on 1 old man but serbs beat up young albanians in a fair fight so it shows how tough albanians are (not tough).

Sad, truly sad. Why is this allowed to take place every single day?
(MikeC, 16 August 2012 10:36)

Where were you 2 days ago, when 9 Serbs beat 2 Albanians in northern Mitro, which one of them lost one eye!?

How come none of Serb media outlets, including b92 reported that incident?

Is it possible that some Albanians who have a vengeful streak do have a gentler side if you make pro-Albanian statements and for that matter you say or do things to appease them? If need be I recall 6 years ago that at the Mic Mac Mall (Halifax/Dartmouth,Nova Scotia's largest shopping center) I had a chance encounter with some young Kosovar-Albanians (young as in young adults) where I wouldn't say they were hostile but reserved but most important one of them was friendly when I was inquisitive about Halifax area Albanians and/or Kosovar Albanians the other Kosovar individual complimented me when I made statements about doing special things for some Albanian even some Bosnian people.

I have nothing to say for this, as I had nothing to say two days before when 9 Serbs beaten 1 Albanian in Mitrovica. One thing is clear that Serbian part don’t wish e strong and democratic Kosova and are doing everything that this not happen. If you mine and fight every day Kosova institutions than incidents like this are more than normal. With this kind of propaganda that you do is easy to find a Serb that sees every Albanian as KLA terrorist and an Albanian that see every Serb as a spy.

Otherwise it would have been a big surprise, since Kosovo as a non-state wasn't allowed to participate in the Olympic games.

Because their olympic team returned home without golden medal. Donkey ride uphill with Macedonian girl in left hand, her left kidney in right hand while chasing a car with Russian plates wasn't the olympic discipline this year - wait till the Olympcs will be hosted by Tirana and Pristina, than they will rejoice.

@Mike: because k-albanians are a culture built on blood vengeance and they've been allowed to get away with murder because it suited NATO for the Kosovo to be in a limbo, with no military, political or legal presence of Serbs (albanians were more than delighted to complete the ethnic cleansing and terror campaign they started in the 1980).

Now NATO has fulfilled it's needs (military presence, access to resources etc) and k-albanians believe that, just because their crimes against Serbs keep going unpunished. what they did was perfectly ok.

Nobody is stopping them, because if somebody actually prosecuted hundreds of murderers of Serbian citizens, then Kosovo would be promptly returned to Serbia, and where would NATO be then?
It's quite pathetic, really.

@MikeC:

because there is no one in that k-albanian society who has the guts to say something! the albanian culture is deeply rooted in the "kanun", where everyone keeps the mouth shut and minds only his own business. a mordern civil society is practically not existent. and so, several thousand male Albanians cannot leave their own house without fear of being killed, because according to the kanun you are untouchable at home.

and do not expect police to help them...

the bottom-line is: they simply cannot do anything, since it is a problem of their very own culture.

but I would simply call it business as usual. attacking an over sixty-year old is a very heroic thing, though. must have been some KLA-heroes...

I say it day after day, month after month, year after year, Albanians do not want to live in an multi-ethnic society. They want KiM free of Serbs - and this BS about all Serbs that participated in war crimes must pay, is just that, BS. This poor man was beaten by these Albanians simply because he was Serb, and not wanted there ever again. And on top of that, someone is illegally occupying his land. If I was in charge of the negotiating team in Belgrade, I would say to Pristina and Eulex, one more incident of murder, invasion by Albanian cops on Serbian property, or even word of another act of thuggery, where a group betas up an older man, all talks are off, and KiM goes into a frozen conflict. No more cooperation with any international body, but the UN, and all accession talks for joining the EU are off also, until further notice. Go and bring your Newborn into the EU, that will surely be a huge asset for Europe.

Not only the beating is a scandal, but the fact that his house is still illegally occupied after more than 10 years. But we know, there's 'rule of (mafia) law' in the democratic, multi-ethnic dream state of Kosovo.

Maybe it's even legally occupied under Kosovo law, because the 'freedom fighters' promised Serbian houses and apartments to people who supported them in their 'freedom fighting'

Because the Albanians have sold their souls to the devil (US) and now can do whatever they like, but not for as long as they like.
How are Albanians going to explain this one? They moved into his house and when he returned they beat him up.
Let's hear all the usual excuses. C'mon Albanians, let's hear them.
