A spokesman for the War Crimes Prosecution says that journalists who may have in some way instigated crimes during the 1990s are being investigated.

A spokesman for the War Crimes Prosecution says that journalists who may have in some way instigated crimes during the 1990s are being investigated. But Bruno Vekaric, speaking for Belgrade's Press tabloid, did not wish to reveal what media outlets or particular articles or stories were in question. Vekaric explained that the prosecution has enlisted “a team of journalists” who are analyzing the stories and programs in question. “It is our estimates, there are things in the media from that time which instigated war crimes, but in the interest of investigations, we still cannot say what stories or media companies are in question,” he said. The spokesman added that "not only domestic media are being investigated, but some from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia as well".
