An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation headed by Albert Jaeger will today start talks with representatives of the Serbian government. This will come as part of the fifth review under the stand-by arrangement Serbia has with the IMF. Technical talks with IMF start As confirmed to Tanjug at the IMF Belgrade office, the representatives of the IMF and Serbian government will carry out talks on a technical expert level, while official talks are scheduled to open with a plenary session at the National Bank of Serbia on Monday, August 23. The IMF delegation arrived in Belgrade on Wednesday and is planned to stay in Serbia until August 31. Serbia's current loan arrangement with this institution is worth EUR 2.9bn.
