Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic said that the government will make a decision on looking for a strategic partner for Jat Airways in early April. An international tender is expected to be announced in the search for a strategic partner for Serbia's national air carrier. “Jat sale to be discussed in April” Dinkic said that the partner will be the company offers the best conditions. He said that the basic goal is to quickly improve and renovate the Jat's fleet – to buy ten new planes, "but not with the state money, rather, with the money of a strategic partner". Belgrade daily Blic stated that discussions regarding a strategic partnership between Jat Airways and Turkish Airlines were heading in a good direction and that further meetings have been scheduled for Thursday.
