The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) achieved the basic goal of its 2009 monetary policy by keeping the inflation rate for the year near seven percent. The central bank said today that its foreign currency reserves were increased by EUR 2.4bn and reached EUR 10.5bn on December 31.
