The inflation rate in Serbia, measured with the retail price index, was 6.9 percent in the first 11 months of this year. This is according to the Statistical Office data released today, which also showed that the November inflation rate was 0.8 percent, while the mid-year inflation rate was 5.9 percent. Inflation reaches 6.9 percent The biggest November price increase was recorded in transport – 2.2 percent, food and beverages – 1.2 percent, catering and hotel accommodation – 1.2 percent, footwear and clothing – 1.1 percent, recreation and culture - 0.5 percent. The prices of alcohol and tobacco marked a drop of 0.2 percent, while the prices of other products and services were not subject to major changes.
