Concert by RTS symphony orchestra opens 47th BEMUS

The Belgrade Music Festival BEMUS opened late on Wednesday with a concert by the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The orchestra was conducted by maestro Bojan Sudjic.

The concert was opened by Fanfares, a composition written by academician Ivan Jevtic in 1994, now adapted and abridged by the author for BEMUS.

The concert featured soloists Maja Rajkovic (piano), Mladen Djordjevic (trumpet), Romain Descharmes (piano), Giampiero Sobrino (clarinet) and Eric Aubier (trumpet).

Soloists of St. Petersburg and conductor Mikhail Gantvarg will perform in the Ilija Kolarac Endowment on Thursday.
