“Patients in Serb enclaves are in danger because of that,” she added.

“The entrance of a donation from Belgrade was approved by the health minister more tan four months ago. However, the Kosovo Medicines Agency is obstructing the process of the medicines delivery even though Velefarm company always submits accompanying documents,” Trajković, who is a member of the Kosovo assembly, stressed.

Bearing in mind that health centers and other health institutions in the enclaves are running out of necessary medicines, she appealed to “conscience of humane people in institutions, international community, EULEX and KFOR to help overcome the problem and do everything to stop the obstruction of medicine deliveries”.

“Doctors are making an effort to save patients’ lives with limited resources but the situation is alarming because reserves of certain drugs are gone,” Trajković warned.
