"This is something that will be worked on the most with the Ministry of Education," Djukic-Dejanovic, who is the minister without portfolio in charge of population policy, told TV Pink.
It is just one of 17 goals set before our country - that is, in front of "200 countries that are signatories to the agenda" she continued.
The remaining 16 goals relate to poverty reduction, healthy environment, health care, employment, and better standard of living.
"None of these goals can be done by one ministry. There is a United Nations team that is helping us. We will have to deliver reports on our activities very soon," Djukic-Dejanovic said.
I thought it was already mandatory since a long long time now. The article should have explained a bit more about education laws in Serbia.
Personally, I think there are too many grades for schooling that incl. univ. Many still come out dumb as ever in any country. It is too long for a short life....

If I can give serbs an advice in good faith is to pay extreme attention while reforming your education system. You have a very healthy young generation of students who are excelling in many international competitions, dont destroy your greatest pride and future in name of some "adopting" your system to european education. Dont do that or at least proceed very carefully. We had a good education system in Albania as we had adopted the russian school as we call it. Of course philosophy, political sciences, economics were to reform but we destroyed everything reforming everything any 4 years. The so called Bolonja process didnt prevent us from having currently the worst education system in the whole region, with illiterates who have 2-3 degrees from private universities and dont know how to put together 2 words. So be very very careful.
