BELGRADE The 21 members of the opposition DSS party parliamentary group and four more MPs on Wednesday asked the Constitutional Court to assess the Brussels agreement. The MPs filed a request for the court to determine whether the agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, initialed in Brussels last month, was legal and constitutional. MPs petition Constitutional Court over Kosovo deal "The DSS is continuously working to defend the Constitution, and specifically Kosovo and Metohija as a constituent part of Serbia. This procedure is an attempt to have the Constitutional Court - being the most relevant organ for protection of constitutionality and legality - look into another text - the agreement on normalization of relations with Pristina," high ranking party official and MP Slobodan Samardzic told journalists. According to him, the deal directly violates the Constitution and laws, while at the same time "affirming the Constitution and laws of the fake state of Kosovo". Among the MPs who filed the request today are two members of the ruling Serb Progressive Party (SNS) - Marjan Risticevic and Miodrag Nikolic - and two independents - Nikola Tulimirovic and Borislav Pelevic. The Serb Radical Party (SRS) previously launched the same procedure with the court. Tanjug
