N. Kosovo Serbs allow KFOR convoy to go through

Northern Kosovo Serbs have let a KFOR convoy go through the barricade in the village of Zupce after holding it for an hour. KFOR vehicles, including jeeps and army trucks, were stopped at the barricade around 00:30 CET. The Serbs were informed that EULEX vehicles were inside the convoy. N. Ristic told Tanjug that the KFOR troops had promised him that they would not set up new checkpoints and that the last night’s patrol was not aimed at removing barricades and that they only wanted to see whether they had freedom of movement. The second KFOR convoy, which included at least one EULEX vehicle and which was waiting several kilometers away from Zupce, returned to southern Kosovska Mitrovica after half an hour. The local Serbs came in large numbers to the barricade in the village of Zupce and other barricades in northern Kosovo after KFOR convoy had arrived to the barricade.

After Zubin Potok Mayor Slaviša Ristić had spoken to KFOR troops, the local Serbs moved a truck that was blocking the road and allowed the convoy to go through.
