Macedonian police confiscated 15 cases containing 10,000 bullet rounds in a village near the border with Albania. The police raids have been ongoing for two days, while six people, including Kamil Mamuti from the village of Bibalj, in whose house the ammunition was found, are now under arrest. Macedonian police seize arms cache Combat vests, hand grenades, sniper rifles and combat manuals in Albanian were also seized. Police continue to search the area, and treat the numbers related to the amount of ammunition confiscates so far in the Mt. Mali Korab region as temporary. Last Wednesday, a Macedonian policeman was killed when unknown assailants opened fire at this country's MUP patrol near the border with Kosovo.
