Dacic said that he expects a positive opinion of Germany regarding the Serbian government policy of internal reforms, results of the dialogue on the normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations and the country's contribution to the stability of the region.

His comments came as the media in Belgrade reported that Germany was blocking the opening of the first chapter in the negotiations.

A member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany and Bundestag Committee on Foreign Affairs, Annen congratulated Dacic on Serbia's upcoming OSCE Chairmanship.

This is an indicator of the OSCE countries' growing trust in Serbia, Annen pointed out.

As of next year, Germany and Serbia will be members of the OSCE Troika, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said in a release.

While discussing bilateral issues, Dacic noted that Serbia is ready to further enhance and promote cooperation with Germany as one its most important economic partners.

The bilateral trade between Serbia and Germany in the first ten months of 2014 is on an upward trend, after reaching a record high of nearly EUR 3 billion last year.
