The Republic Election Commission (RIK) announced late on Sunday its first results based on a sample of 7.87 percent of polling stations. According to this, SNS leader and presidential candidate Tomislav Nikolic has won 25.47 percent of votes in the first round, while DS leader and presidential candidate Boris Tadic received 23.63 percent.
