A 50-year-old woman, J.B., from the town of Ruma in the province of Vojvodina has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an 80-year-old woman in Novi Sad.

Daily Blic writes today that the suspect's daughter was previously a tenant in the victim's apartment, and that the two women argued when J.B. came to collect her daughter's belongings.J.B. is suspected of striking the elderly woman in the head, using a bottle, and then cutting her throat with the broken bottle.
The suspect is currently held in 48-hour custody and will be brought before a prosecutor with the legal deadline, it has been announced.
