Belgrade investigates Haradinaj The Hague Tribunal on Wednesday ordered a retrial in its own war crimes case against Haradinaj. He and another member of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) were initially acquitted of charged related to killings, torture, rape and intimidation in Kosovo in 1998, prior to the 1999 war there. But the Appeals Chamber yesterday decided that the proceedings were invalid due to witness intimidation, and ordered a partial retrial. The decision as welcomed by Serbia's top officials.
