Four persons died while another was seriously injured in a traffic accident south-west of Belgrade this morning. Three vehicles were involved in the crash on the Ibarska highway, which took place between the towns of Ljig and Lazarevac at 04:00 CET Saturday. Four die in Ibarska car crash The first results of the investigation show that the driver in a BMW attempted to overtake another vehicle, colliding head-on with a WV Golf traveling from the opposite direction. The driver who caused the crash died, along with three persons traveling in the car he hit. The victims were identified as Radisa Djurdjic, Zoran Nikolic, Vera Miljkovic and Milena Radojevic. The victims were identified as Radiša Đurđić, Zoran Nikolić, Vera Miljković and Milena Radojević.
The road was blocked for traffic for over three and a half hours this morning.
