A delegation of the U.S. Congress, which arrived here on Monday, will today be meeting with top Serbian officials. It has been announced that among them will be President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, deputy prime ministers Mladjan Dinkic and Bozidar Djelic, and the Serbian parliament's friendship group with the U.S. U.S. Congress delegation in Belgrade The talks will focus on relations between the U.S. and Serbia, Serbia's Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as its democratic and economic development, the U.S. embassy in Belgrade said in a statement, according to Tanjug news agency. Serbia is interested in intensifying political dialogue and further strengthening overall relations with the U.S., Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic pointed out in a meeting with a delegation of the U.S. Congress in Belgrade. In the meeting, Cvetkovic stressed that EU accession is Serbia's strategic goal and that Serbia is convinced that dialogue is the only way to arrive at a compromise solution for Kosovo, the Serbian government said in a statement.
