Slovenian ambassador to Serbia Miroslav Luci said that he expects Serbia to quickly ratify the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA). “It would be good for the new government to ratify the SAA as soon as possible, to reach a general consensus in Serbia between the government and opposition regarding the importance of Serbia’s entrance into the EU." "Ratify SAA as soon as possible" "Everybody should work on that, because that would make the whole process a lot faster,” Luci said in an interview with daily Danas. He said that everyone should be satisfied with the work done by Slovenia during its six-month presidency of the European Union. “For us it is most important that we played our role well in working on our defined priorities, and one of them was the region of the Western Balkans. The SAA was signed with the remaining countries, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia, which are now on an irreversible road towards EU membership,” according to Luci.
