Ljubljana - little brussels?

Certainly seem to have an inflated opinion of themselves.

Doubtless missing the limelight.

PRN:
> a. Ratifying SAA is the 1st priority of the new Serbian government.
Quite possibly.

> b. Cooperation on UNMIK configuration, was just announced by Serbian FM.

See you forgot to put in the caveats. Allow me to help you out - this is what he actually said:

FM Vuk Jeremić says a new government in Belgrade will be ready to cooperate with the UN in finding "an adequate solution" to UNMIK's reconfiguration.

Jeremić, DS, explained that "an adequate solution" would be one acceptable to Belgrade and securing support at the UN Security Council.

Your comment however (misleading as it is), makes for a good 'soundbyte' in the western media & brussels.

Form without substance - 'the brussels way'.

Good job Mr Jeremic - keep it up.

> c. Recognising Kosovo independence. Some of you may not agree with this step, of course, but you know it ought to happen VERY soon.

When a certain 'very hot place' freezes over.

PRN when will Serbia recognise Kosovo? Since you say it will be very soon, when will that be.

I would say that its unlikely to happen at all, but certainly not 'VERY soon'.

The 3 inevitable steps of NEW Serbian government:

a. Ratifying SAA is the 1st priority of the new Serbian government.

b. Cooperation on UNMIK configuration, was just announced by Serbian FM.

c. Recognising Kosovo independence. Some of you may not agree with this step, of course, but you know it ought to happen VERY soon.

Step A + Step B definately leads to Step C.
