Government divides Serbian Railways into four companies
The government decision will take effect in about ten days, after its publication in the Official Gazette.Under government plans and a letter of intent sent to the IMF, the deadline for dividing the company was July 1.
The Serbian government has until the end of September to adopt corporate and restructuring plans for the company, which it has been working on since the beginning of May in collaboration with the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the EU.
