The B92 Fund is launching a campaign to raise money to buy 100 incubators for the the Institute of Neonatology and other health institutions in Serbia. The Fund has sent an invitation letter addressed to potential donors. B92 launches campaign to buy incubators The campaign came after it was revealed that most incubators used to treat prematurely born children were between 30 and 40 years old. None of these incubators are certified by the manufacturer and they represent a danger for the safety of babies. The campaign is aimed at mobilizing the entire community to work on reducing the death rate of newborns, and threats to the health of prematurely born babies and those whose survival depends on treatment received in incubators. A single incubator unit costs some RSD 1.2mn plus VAT. The letter, inviting donors to join the campaign, was signed by B92 Board of Directors President Veran Matic.
