Today marks the 31st anniversary of the death of Josip Broz Tito, lifelong president of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRJ). He was also lifelong chairman of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia. 31 years since death of Yugoslav dictator Broz emerged as the ruler of the country set up after the Second World War, in a single-party political system. Tito's fellow-WW2 soldiers and followers from all former Yugoslav countries were expected to mark the anniversary of his death. The gathered in Belgrade to place wreaths and paying tribute at the House of Flowers mausoleum in Belgrade.
