Serbia's Federation Cup team has scored two victories in the Belgrade tie against Japan this Saturday. Ana Ivanovic beat Ai Sugiyama in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. The match – Serbia's World Group II debut – was played at the Belgrade Arena in front of some 13,000 fans. Serbia leads Japan in Fed Cup Serbia's best female tennis player Jelena Jakovic took it to the court next, for a clash with Ayumi Morita. Jankovic won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0.
