“No Wahhabis in southern Serbia”
Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa mufti Dzemaledin Hasani says there are no Wahhabis among Albanians in the area.

PRESEVO Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja mufti Dzemaledin Hasani says there are no Wahhabis among Albanians in the area. “I responsibly claim that there are no Wahhabis among Albanians residing in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja,” the Mufti said. “No Wahhabis in southern Serbia” He believed that the story of Wahhabis supposedly stationed in Novi Pazar was “mere political fabrication by the people who manipulate Islamic community members out of their own interests.” Bujanovac mosque imam Ulvija Fejzullahu agrees with Hasani’s observation. “I am positive there are no Wahhabis among Muslims in the area. However, I cannot guarantee there are no supporters of the Wahhabi movement,” Fejzullahu said.
