Dodik offers assistance to Karadžić family

Republic of Srpska, RS, Premier Milorad Dodik yesterday met with Radovan Karadzic's wife and daughter. After the meeting that took place in East Sarajevo, Dodik said he had offered assistance to Ljiljana Zelen-Karadzic and Sonja Karadzic-Jovicevic. Dodik offers assistance to Karadzic family The RS prime minister said he spoke to them about their status and other issues concerning the "employment sector", and added they asked for "nothing spectacular". Dodik said the members of the former RS president's family will receive assistance in achieving the rights they are entitled to under the law. Karadzic-Jovicevic told reporters after the meeting that Dodik learned about the family's problems prior to and after the arrest of Radovan Karadzic, and expressed hope the head of the RS government will help them "return to normal life". Karadzic, accused of war crimes by the Hague Tribunal, was arrested in Belgrade last month, and has in the meantime been extradited.
