"Relations between the government and the Archdiocese of Belgrade are constructive and good," Deputy PM Zorana Mihajlovic underlined on Friday.

"Constructive relations between govt., Belgrade archdiocese"
The minister and the archbishop "discussed the role of family and women in this day and age, and activities of the Catholic Church's humanitarian organizations in Serbia," the deputy prime minister's office said in a release quoted by Tanjug."Our messages must reach all citizens, as just laws and institutions are not enough when it comes to tackling the issues of gender equality and domestic violence," said Mihajlovic, who also chairs the government's coordination body for gender equality.
Hocevar emphasized that "the role of family in Europe must be strengthened with broad support from all participants and the media."
