BRUSSELS The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue will continue today focusing on the distribution of customs revenues from integrated crossings at the administrative line. This is according to a Tanjug report on Monday, quoting sources at the European Commission (EC) headquarters. Customs duties "to be discussed in Brussels on Monday" The technical talks, during which Belgrade's team would be headed by Dejan Pavicevic, will commence around noon at the EU External Action Service building, Tanjug learned from an EC official who preferred to remain anonymous. The same source confirmed that the main topic would be the distribution of customs revenues, the issue that remained unresolved even after the agreement on integrated management of crossing that has been implemented since December 10. Although Belgrade insisted that the customs duties should not be collected on goods coming from central Serbia to northern Kosovo until an agreement is reached on the distribution of revenues, Kosovo customs officials have tried to collect customs duties on those goods in recent days. That stirred the protest of Serb businessmen from the north, who announced that they will block the Jarinje crossing for two hours on Monday as a sign of warning. Until January 10, the two sides should harmonize their views on this issue at the technical level, it was announced in Brussels. The next round of top-level talks during which Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic will meet with Hashim Thaci in the presence of the EU's foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton is scheduled to take place on January 17.
