He added that KFOR and EULEX were planning on forcibly integrating local Serbs into Kosovo institutions. K. Speaking at a session of the Kosovska Mitrovica municipality on Tuesday, Nedeljkovic pointed out that there were serious announcements that the security situation would aggravate in northern Kosovo, which means that KFOR and EULEX will cause incidents there, and, as he put it, use them as an excuse for violent action to close the crossings and attempt forcible integration of local Serbs into Kosovo institutions. "I call on the citizens not to respond to provocations. According to our findings, they will try to dissolve the barricade on the main bridge in Kosovska Mitrovica as well," he stressed. Nedeljkovic also said that the locals should remain calm and not give an excuse to representatives of the international community and Pristina to start an operation in northern Kosovo. “At the same time, we have to send a clear message that we have not given up on our peaceful fight, that we do not want Kosovo institutions and integration into Kosovo system,” the Kosovska Mitrovica District head explained. "They can take away something from us by force, but they cannot impose anything on us. They cannot impose institutions which do not guarantee prosperity, economic development and standard on us. The international community has to realize that there are institutions in northern Kosovo which operate at full capacity and that we do not want any others," Nedeljkovic concluded. Tanjug
