Belgrade team chief Borislav Stefanovic and Serbian president’s advisor Marko Djuric agree the talks need to shift its focus from technical to political issues. “We know what we agreed in Brussels, but this is being abused now,” Stefanovic said and noted that there were two major problems in the implementation of the agreements, the first being freedom of movement and the second that of regional presentation. Djuric said that competent bodies should pay close attention so as to avoid any gesture that could contribute to either implicit or explicit recognition of Kosovo. When asked why certain matters were seen differently in Belgrade, Pristina and Brussels, Djuric noted that the agreements reached so far covered too many flexible paragraphs which give ground to different interpretations.
