For centuries Albanians have been a backward, uncivilized peoples, now all of a sudden they at par with the world's oldest nations. What am I missing in your logic?

gjon, I guess that's John in English, anyway, there is nothing wrong with the remark about Albanians learning to behave. Please site one country that Albanians have migrated to, that they have not become one of the leading mafias in that nation? As for behaving in your own country, yes you do, because you respect the ruling clans that run it - and are afraid of them. Why is that stupid? There should be no negotiations with albanians. Where ever albanians end up they leave chaos and missery. No negotiations untli they learn how to behave.

MikeC, some of you Serbians in this forum really make me lough with your behaves. If you do not have anything smart to say why you say something stupid? Sometimes silence is really appreciated more.

It seems that the regional members have all interpreted the agreement on regional representation the same as Kosovo, and now it has been reinforced by the EU. So if Serbia claims that is not what they agreed to and continue to walk out of meetings then it will jsut make them look bad, not Kosovo.

The talks will turn to political issues, hmmm. I can only think of one. Either an independent Albanian Kosovo is recognized by Serbia, or it is not. What other political issue is there? We shall soon see what the Nikolic team will do regarding this matter. In any case, even a back door hint of recognizing an Albanian Kosovo will be suicide for any Serbian politician. Get on your marks, get set, let the power-brokering arm-twisting begin.

"When asked why certain matters were seen differently in Belgrade, Priština and Brussels, Đurić noted that the agreements reached so far covered too many flexible paragraphs which give ground to different interpretations"
Or Serbia was pushed to accept certain terms in exchange for its candidate status before elections but had no intentions of honoring them once they got it.

I wonder what decree Serbia could make that would prevent the Kosovo authorities from confiscating the plates. They are doing so according to the laws of Kosovo, sanctioned by res 1244, not Serbian laws now.
