The first early elections for the assembly in Priština since Kosovo's Albanians unilaterally declared independence will be held on February 13, 2011.

The first early elections for the assembly in Pristina since Kosovo's Albanians unilaterally declared independence will be held on February 13, 2011. This is according to acting Kosovo President Jakup Krasnici, who spoke on Friday. Elections in Kosovo scheduled for Feb. 13 Krasnici took the decision after consultations with political parties, Tanjug has learned from Kosovo Albanian political sources. The elections will be held after Fatmir Sejdiu resigned. Sejdiu's Democratic Alliance of Kosovo had urged that elections be held in March.
