Parliament Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic announced on Tuesday that she will schedule an extraordinary session for mid-September. "I think it could be around the middle of the month. I need time to prepare the session as I expect more bills to come in," Djukic-Dejanovic told Tanjug. Parliament to meet after Sept. 10 According to her, MPs will debate several government- sponsored bills, including a bill on air traffic and a spatial planning bill for the 2010 to 2012, amendments to the law ratifying the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data, as well as several agreements that are awaiting ratification. She noted that a resolution on Kosovo and Metohija submitted by the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) was also on the agenda, and that more pending legislation should be coming before the parliament soon. Djukic-Dejanovic said that in September the parliament could also discuss a resolution condemning the crimes against Serbs in the former Yugoslavia.
