Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac says the capacities of the armies of Serbia and Croatia are “complementary”. He made the comment after returning from an official visit to Croatia, where he signed an agreement on cooperation between the two countries in the area of defense together with his Croatian counterpart Branko Vukelic. “Armies of Serbia, Croatia complementary” "I am sure that the officers of the two armies will find what is for them the most interesting and most cost-effective to cooperate on. On our side, we can offer cooperation with the Military Medical Academy as a great brand that connects the entire region, Military Academy and ABHO Center in Krusevac," Sutanovac told B92 TV. The minister recalled that Serbia has signed agreements with all countries in the region, that last year it signed an agreement with China and launched the initiative to sign such an agreement with Albania. "I also informed the president Ivo Josipovic and my counterpart Vukeliccthat we have good facilities and record military industry export and that there is likelihood that we will get contracts that will require cooperation at the regional level for specific products that used to be produced in the former Yugoslavia, and we will then offer cooperation not only to Croatia but also to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia," said Sutanovac.
