Vojvodina provincial official resigns

Vojvodina Provincial Secretary for Administration, Regulations and Ethnic Minorities Tomas Korhec said today that he had tendered in his resignation. Koherc stated that he was resigning because he had “done everything in his power in the office and did not see what else he could achieve since he ran into walls and obstacles”, described as insurmountable. Vojvodina provincial official resigns “Even to this day there is no Vojvodina property, original taxes and incomes, and it’s an unconstitutional state of affairs which has lasted for almost two years now,” he described the obstacles. Korhec denied speculation that he was in conflict with “anyone from the Vojvodina Executive Council”, or with anybody from the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) party, on whose ticket he held the office.
