The assembly of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) has permanently removed Bishop Artemije from his duties. Artemije was at the helm of the Raska-Prizren Eparchy. SPC assembly dismisses bishop At the same time, Bishop Atanasije resigned as the eparchy's temporary administrator, but will remain there until a new solution is found. This is the only official statement given in the case. Bishop Artemije was suspended from his duties last winter in connection to allegations of misappropriation of funds by some of his associates.
