SPC assembly dismisses bishop

The assembly of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) has permanently removed Bishop Artemije from his duties.

Why do you care? How does this have any affect on your people?

To be honest Peggy, I met the man twice withing two days when Fact-finding mission from UNSC, and i listen to him in Gracanica and this man has nothing but hate towards Albanains. Second day , he came uninvited to Ciga/Brestovika and he was told by the Head of of said mission to simply shut up, and was escorted by Russian Ambassador outside to his car. I was there in both places and know the facts first hand.

The removal of Bishop Artemije from his position within the Serbian Orthodox Church and from the Rasko-Prizren Diocese is a HUGE loss for the church and it will be felt worldwide because it creates loss of confidence in the church organization. Bishop Artemije will continue to be loved, respected and have his many supporters regardless of what a confused small minded church hierarchy does.
