European Parliament official Jelko Kacin said that the Parliament supports the abolishment of visas for Serbian citizens. He also said that the EU is looking for a way to abolish visas for Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina as well. Kacin: EU supports visa liberalization Kacin told daily Danas that abolishing visas depends exclusively on Serbia, because it must fulfill the obligations it has taken upon itself. “So far, only Macedonia has fulfilled all conditions, while the abolishment of visas in Serbia and Montenegro is still not certain,” Kacin said. He said that the executive government in Serbia was given the opinion of the European Commission regarding the best time to apply for European Union candidate status. Kacin told daily Danas that abolishing visas depends exclusively on Serbia, because it must fulfill the obligations it has taken upon itself.“So far, only Macedonia has fulfilled all conditions, while the abolishment of visas in Serbia and Montenegro is still not certain,” Kacin said.
