Greece is "strongly supporting" Serbia's EU perspective, deputy Greek FM Miltiadis Varvitsiotis was quoted as saying. Varvitsiotis made the statement after his meeting with Vojvodina Executive Council President Bojan Pajtic in Athens, it was announced. "Strong Greek support" on EU path Greek investors are still very interested in Serbia, and the economic cooperation between the two countries is developing despite the crisis, it was also heard after the meeting. The two officials stressed that overall relations between Belgrade and Athens are on a very high level. Pajtic said that Greek companies have to date invested EUR 426mn in Vojvodina, employing more than 3,200 people in the process.
