The powers that be have pretty much decreed that the whole of the Western Balkans will be in the EU over the next few decades, so I think it does not really matter who supports who in it, their place is guaranteed, just the time it will take being something to talk of.

What will be more interesting is the possibility of Ukraine and Georgia when the time comes.

I would like to thank the "Kosova-USA" (an Albanian living in the US that is) for giving me the specific information about what EU actually is. Thank you very much, and an albanian in US, you must know better.

Well - unlike yourself - I have been a "European citizen" since the last 30 years, my country Greece, is one of the oldest EU member states (joined the EU in 1980, earlier than Portugal, Spain and... Great Britain), so allow me to have a better opinion about what EU actually means and actually is, than yourself. And what I mentioned about EU in my first comment above, is simply 100% reality.

This organization will collapse one day - or transform to an economic union and nothing more - sooner than you people think. So don't wish so deeply to be members of something like that with no future. EU is a US-controlled political creation with no real powers, and plenty of European citizens with no job, under no justice and no future. Nothing more than that.

In case you don't know EU is not United States of Europe. EU is an economical and political union made of 27 members as of right now. This union started oin 1993 when Mastrich treaty was signed and at that time there were two dozen states and now they have 27 members+other countries aspire to join this economical and political union.

Well in fact EUSSR has already started to crack so it will fall apart much earlier than possible accesion of Turkey.
If Turkey got the green light it would mean massive protests all over EU including both catholic and ortodox countries. As to albanians only among Saudi beduins who suddenly became rich due to oil revenues are they considered "muslim brothers".

"Both catholic Croatia and Orthodox Serbia will be EU members in the near future. Unfortunately even muslim Albania or - even worst - muslim Turkey will join the EU in the near future."

--

Turkey NEVER! Germany and France don't want a bigger country plus they have total different attitudes. It's isn't about religion, it's values, Western Values to be specific. 75 million Turks from as far as Iran will swamp EU and refuse to integrate.

Srbia, Bosnia and Kosova will join, but when and how? EU will not import problems, once in EU no Balkan style fights so everything must be solved first.

yes, maybe you are right, but they are not "greek conditions", greece stood most of the time at the side of serbia, me personally i would like to see more investments in serbia.

The earliest anyone can get in EU is 2015,and that's if everything goes perfect. (Of course Catholic Croatia is excluded)

By then god knows how many conditions will be added, for sure border and constitutional problems must be solved.
