International Civilian Office/EU Special Representative Pieter Feith congratulated "all citizens of Kosovo the first anniversary of Kosovo's independence". "On the first anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kosovo, I express my warmest congratulations to all the citizens of Kosovo," said Feith. ICR/EU rep congratulates anniversary "We, your international partners have traveled with you in the past year and were witnesses to the great changes that have taken place at a time when you started building a brilliant future as a democratic an multiethnic society," Beta news agency quoted his statement this Monday. Feith also reminded of "challenges", saying that Kosovo Albanian leaders and international representatives are facing work in order to "progress in all areas of reform and reconciliation". "We promise our support in all your efforts to come closer to the European and Atlantic structures in the coming months and years," he also said in his message.
