A war in Kosovo would do no good to anyone, President Boris Tadic said Saturday. Speaking at the graduation ceremony for 192 Serbian Army (VS) second lieutenants held in downtown Belgrade on Saturday, Tadic said that Serbia is "firmly determined to defend its interests by peaceful means." “The war in Kosovo would be catastrophic for both Albanians and Serbs, for Europe, Russia and the United States,” stressed Tadić, adding that Serbia’s peaceful policy in the process of finding a solution for the province’s status “has no alternative.”
