Croatian media have reported that truck driver Dragan Paravinja is linked to a murder of Belgrade journalist Radislava Dada Vujasinovic. Paravinja is accused of murdering a 17-year-old girl. Croatian press: Killer involved in Serbian journalist murder Serbia wants Paravinja questioned in connection with the case. According to Zagreb-based daily Jutarnji list, Paravinja was involved in organizing the murder of the Serbian journalist in 1994, which has not been solved to this day. B92 has unofficially learned that the Serbian police are investigating Paravinja’s involvement in Vujasinovic’s murder. The Prosecution has said, however, that this is completely new information to them. Police still do not want to give any official statements regarding the case, but they say that new information could be made public next week. The Vujasinovic family’s lawyer Branislav Tapuskovic told B92 that he had no information about Paravinja’s involvement in the case and that he had not been contacted by Serbian or Croatian police. Paravinja’s involvement in the case could shed some light on what happened to missing 17-year-old Antonija Bilic from the Croatian town of Drnis. The suspect told Croatian investigators that he “knows a lot about Dada Vujasinovic’s case“. “Serbian police have been since recently checking information that Paravinja has something to do with Vujasinovic’s murder,“ said Serbian Police Director Milorad Veljovic. Paravinja was arrested on June 26 in Bosnia-Herzegovina after a several-day long search. He confessed to the murder of the girl who was last seen on June 7.
