Two arrested for drug trafficking
Serbian police (MUP) and intelligence agency BIA worked together to arrest two persons in Belgrade yesterday on drug smuggling charges.

Serbian police (MUP) and intelligence agency BIA worked together to arrest two persons in Belgrade yesterday on drug smuggling charges. The suspects now in custody were identified as Mirsad Dizdarevic, 43, a Bosnian citizen, and Snezana Belanovic, 39, an Austrian national. Two arrested for drug trafficking Afrim Nuredini, 33, a Presevo, southern Serbia, native, is still at large and police have launched an intensive search for him, a statement said. The three are suspected of attempting to smuggle a total of 10 kilograms of heroin divided into 20 packages. The drugs were discovered in an Austrian license plate Mazda car in Bubanj Potok, near Belgrade. Police believe the heroin was meant to be sold in the western European market.
