Air Serbia reintroduces Belgrade-Sofia flight after 15 years

Serbia's national carrier, Air Serbia, has reintroduced direct daily flights from Belgrade to Sofia after 15 years.

Air Serbia reintroduces Belgrade-Sofia flight after 15 years

"The reintroduction of flights for Sofia will considerably contribute to regional integration which will bring benefits to the entire region, and tourists and businesspeople will now be able to use the conveniences of everyday flights," Air Serbia Director General Dane Kondić stated.

He said that the new service "ensures connections with continental Europe and key world destinations."

On Tuesday, the company also introduced new, daily flights to Budapest.

The flights for Sofia offer links from Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport to many "key destinations" including Abu Dhabi, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Stockholm, Moscow, Rome, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Tivat, and Podgorica.
